Job summary

Green by Nature AU in Western Australia is seeking a Garden Maintenance Team Leader to guide hands-on garden care, including trimming, planting, mulching, and seasonal tasks. This role requires practical fitness and a proactive approach to outdoor work.

You’ll lead a small team, follow safety protocols, and help deliver high-quality green spaces for clients. A driver’s license and willingness to obtain a National Police Check are preferred; Monday to Friday with an early start.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field.
• Current driver's licence and a National Police Check or willingness to obtain one.
• Role may be physically demanding with lifting, bending, kneeling and standing for extended periods.

We are looking for a Garden Maintenance Team Leader to assist with various tasks related to garden maintenance. This hands‑on role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Responsibilities

• Assist with garden maintenance tasks such as hedging, weeding, pruning, planting, and mulching.
• Operate hand tools such as hedgers, blowers and whipper snippers and petrol gear such as push mowers and ride on plant equipment safely and effectively under the guidance of experienced team members.
• Load and unload materials, plants, and equipment from trucks and trailers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.

About You

You have a strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards. Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field will be highly regarded.

You have a current driver's licence and a National Police Check or willing to obtain one.

This role can be physically demanding and you must have the ability to safely lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel and stand for extended periods.

Your ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team will help you to be successful in this role.
