Job summary

The ST GEORGE HOTEL BELMORE seeks a Gaming Supervisor to oversee daily gaming floor operations, ensure high levels of customer service, and supervise staff. The role demands strict adherence to NSW gaming regulations, cash handling, and opening/closing procedures.

This rotating roster position requires flexibility to work day, night, and weekends, with a focus on compliance, presentation, and service quality to enhance the guest experience at the hotel venue.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a gaming venue is essential.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a gaming management, supervisory, or similar leadership role is preferred.
• If you don’t have management experience, a minimum 2 years of experience as a Gaming Attendant is required.
• Current RSA / RCG / Advanced RCG and other relevant gaming qualifications/competencies as required.
• Strong knowledge of NSW gaming compliance and responsible gambling requirements.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to confidently manage a gaming floor and make decisions during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the gaming floor and ensure smooth service throughout the shift.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service and experience.
• Ensure the gaming room is clean, organised, safe and presented to a high standard at all times.
• Ensure food and beverage service is maintained appropriately within venue procedures.
• Supervise and support gaming staff during shifts.
• Support responsible conduct of gambling and harm-minimisation practices.
• Assist with cash handling, cash reconciliation and gaming-related financial procedures.
• Complete opening and closing procedures accurately and securely.
• Ensure the venue remains compliant with company standards and relevant NSW liquor and gaming requirements.

The Gaming Supervisor will take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the gaming floor, including customer experience, staff supervision, gaming compliance, cash handling, presentation and opening/closing procedures.

We are looking for someone who is confident, reliable and proactive with strong attention to detail and understands that compliance, customer service and gaming-floor presentation are equally important.
