Job summary

AVC Operations Pty Limited is seeking an experienced Gaming Manager to lead the day-to-day gaming operations at a Queensland venue. You’ll work closely with the Venue Manager to deliver strong commercial results, welcome guests and uphold high compliance standards.

Responsibilities include leading the gaming floor, driving revenue, analysing performance, supporting promotions, and ensuring Queensland gaming compliance. RSA/RSG and licensing readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in gaming management or senior gaming roles.
• Strong understanding of gaming KPIs, revenue drivers and compliance.
• Leadership and coaching skills with a hands-on style.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily gaming operations and maintain a strong floor presence.
• Drive gaming revenue, performance and KPIs.
• Review results and identify opportunities to improve performance.
• Support gaming promotions and customer engagement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Queensland gaming legislation and responsible gambling requirements.
• Maintain harm-minimisation and self-exclusion procedures.
• Manage audits, cash controls and reporting.
• Recruit, train, coach and develop gaming team members.
• Collaborate with Venue Manager and leadership team.

About the role

As Gaming Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operation and performance of the gaming room at your venue.

• Delivering a welcoming and responsible experience for every guest

About you

You'll ideally bring:

• Previous experience as a Gaming Manager, Gaming Supervisor or senior gaming team member
• Strong commercial understanding of gaming performance and KPIs
• Sound knowledge of Queensland gaming compliance and responsible gambling requirements
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a team
• Strong communication, organisation and customer-service skills
• A hands-on leadership style
• Flexibility to work peak trading periods, including evenings and weekends
• Current Queensland RSA and RSG certificates
• Current RMLV and Approved Manager approval, or willingness to obtain them
• A current Gaming Nominee licence, or eligibility and willingness to obtain it
• Customer Liaison Officer experience is desirable but not essential
