Job summary

Australian Venue Co. is seeking an experienced Gaming Manager to lead the day-to-day gaming operations across Queensland, including the Daunwoody's Hotel venue. You will work with the Venue Manager to drive revenue, ensure strong guest experiences, and uphold strict compliance standards.

The role offers autonomy to own gaming performance, develop the team, and collaborate with senior leadership to deliver exceptional results. Queensland RSA/RSG and an active nominee licence are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Gaming Manager or senior gaming team member.
• Strong understanding of gaming performance and KPIs.
• Knowledge of Queensland gaming compliance and responsible gambling requirements.
• Proven ability to lead and coach a team.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Flexibility to work peak trading periods, including evenings and weekends.
• Current Queensland RSA and RSG certificates.
• Current RMLV and Approved Manager approval, or willingness to obtain them.
• Current Gaming Nominee licence, or eligibility and willingness to obtain it.

As Gaming Manager you will take ownership of gaming operations within venue, working closely with the Venue Manager to deliver strong commercial results, excellent guest experiences and consistently high compliance standards.

About the role

As Gaming Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operation and performance of the gaming room at your venue.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a team




• Strong communication, organisation and customer-service skills




• A hands‑on leadership style




• Flexibility to work peak trading periods, including evenings and weekends




• Current Queensland RSA and RSG certificates




• Current RMLV and Approved Manager approval, or willingness to obtain them




• A current Gaming Nominee licence, or eligibility and willingness to obtain it




• Customer Liaison Officer experience is desirable but not essential
