Job summary

Australian Venue Co. is seeking an experienced Gaming Manager to lead the gaming room operations at one of our Queensland venues. You will manage day-to-day activities, drive revenue, ensure guest satisfaction and uphold strict compliance with gaming laws.

You'll work closely with the Venue Manager and leadership team to deliver strong results, coach gaming staff, and maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all guests. Nights and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Gaming Manager or senior gaming team member.
• Strong understanding of gaming KPIs and revenue drivers.
• Knowledge of Queensland gaming compliance and responsible gambling requirements.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a gaming team.
• Strong communication, organisation and customer-service skills.
• Flexibility to work peak trading periods, including evenings and weekends.
• Current Queensland RSA and RSG certificates.
• Current RMLV and Approved Manager approval or willingness to obtain.
• Current Gaming Nominee licence or eligibility and willingness to obtain it.

As Gaming Manager you will take ownership of gaming operations within venue, working closely with the Venue Manager to deliver strong commercial results, excellent guest experiences and consistently high compliance standards.

About the role

As Gaming Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operation and performance of the gaming room at your venue.

Your responsibilities will include:

About you

You’ll ideally bring:

• Previous experience as a Gaming Manager, Gaming Supervisor or senior gaming team member


• Strong commercial understanding of gaming performance and KPIs


• Sound knowledge of Queensland gaming compliance and responsible gambling requirements


• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a team


• Strong communication, organisation and customer-service skills


• A hands‑on leadership style


• Flexibility to work peak trading periods, including evenings and weekends


• Current Queensland RSA and RSG certificates


• Current RMLV and Approved Manager approval, or willingness to obtain them


• A current Gaming Nominee licence, or eligibility and willingness to obtain it


• Customer Liaison Officer experience is desirable but not essential
