Job summary

Australian Venue Co. is seeking a Gaming Manager to lead the day-to-day gaming room operations at Sands Tavern on Bribie Island. You will drive revenue, monitor KPIs, and ensure strict compliance with Queensland gaming rules while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience as Gaming Manager or senior gaming team member
• Strong understanding of gaming KPIs and revenue drivers
• Knowledge of Queensland gaming compliance and responsible gambling requirements
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to work peak trading periods including evenings and weekends
• Current Queensland RSA and RSG certificates
• Current RMLV and Approved Manager approval, or willingness to obtain them
• Current Gaming Nominee licence, or eligibility and willingness to obtain it
• Experience in customer liaison is desirable

About the role

As Gaming Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operation and performance of the gaming room at your venue.

About you

You’ll ideally bring:

• Previous experience as a Gaming Manager, Gaming Supervisor or senior gaming team member
• Strong commercial understanding of gaming performance and KPIs
• Sound knowledge of Queensland gaming compliance and responsible gambling requirements
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a team
• Strong communication, organisation and customer-service skills
• A hands-on leadership style
• Flexibility to work peak trading periods, including evenings and weekends
• Current Queensland RSA and RSG certificates
• Current RMLV and Approved Manager approval, or willingness to obtain them
• A current Gaming Nominee licence, or eligibility and willingness to obtain it
• Customer Liaison Officer experience is desirable but not essential
