Job summary

Australian Venue Co. is seeking an experienced Gaming Manager to oversee daily gaming operations across Queensland venues, including Runaway Bay Tavern, Hope Island Tavern, Burleigh Town Hotel and Beenleigh Tavern.

You will drive revenue, ensure high compliance, and lead a team to deliver excellent guest experiences. You will work closely with the Venue Manager and leadership teams, maintaining harm-minimisation standards and promoting responsible gambling, with a hands-on leadership style and

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Gaming Manager, Gaming Supervisor or senior gaming team member.
• Strong commercial understanding of gaming performance and KPIs.
• Sound knowledge of Queensland gaming compliance and responsible gambling requirements.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a team.
• Strong communication, organisation and customer-service skills.
• Hands-on leadership style.
• Flexibility to work peak trading periods, including evenings and weekends.
• Current Queensland RSA and RSG certificates.
• Current RMLV and Approved Manager approval, or willingness to obtain them.
• A current Gaming Nominee licence, or eligibility and willingness to obtain it.

About the role

As Gaming Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operation and performance of the gaming room at your venue.

About you
