Job summary

Huntlee Tavern is seeking an experienced Gaming Manager to lead the gaming room and supervise staff in a busy hotel/pub environment.

You will monitor operations, ensure high customer service standards, and work with management to improve venue performance while maintaining strict compliance with all gaming, liquor, and responsible gambling rules.

Qualifications

• Experience in gaming operations or venue management.
• Strong knowledge of gaming compliance and responsible gambling requirements.
• Current RSA and RCG/RSG certification, or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the gaming room.
• Supervise, train, and support gaming and venue staff.
• Ensure excellent customer service is delivered to patrons.
• Monitor gaming machine operations, cash handling, payouts, and reconciliations.
• Maintain compliance with gaming, liquor, AML/CTF, responsible gambling, WHS, and venue policies.
• Ensure responsible conduct of gambling practices are followed at all times.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and incidents professionally.
• Monitor gaming room presentation, cleanliness, and customer experience.
• Assist with staff rostering, performance, and training requirements.
• Prepare reports relating to gaming operations, revenue, incidents, and compliance.
• Work closely with senior management to improve venue performance.

Key Duties

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of gaming compliance and responsible gambling requirements

• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
  
• Good cash handling, reporting, and problem-solving abilities
  
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
  
• Experience in a hotel, club, pub, or hospitality venue will be highly regarded
