Job summary

Endeavour Group’s Kensington Tavern in Crestmead, Brisbane seeks a Gaming Manager to own the gaming room, host operations, and elevate service standards. You will lead the host team across shifts, ensure compliance, manage cash, and report to the Venue Manager.

RSA and RSG are required; experience in gaming room leadership and strong guest service are essential to deliver a premium on-site experience.

Qualifications

• Current RSA and RSG as per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the gaming room and lead host team across opens, mids, and closes.

About the Role

Gaming Manager | Kensington Tavern

Are you a hands-on gaming leader with a passion for high-touch player service, room atmosphere, and technical operations? The Kensington Tavern is looking for a dedicated Gaming Manager to take complete ownership of our busy gaming room, direct host operations, and elevate standards across our high-volume Crestmead venue.

In this role, you will be the face of the room, combining genuine guest hosting with sharp technical oversight, reporting, cash administration, and compliance. Working closely with the Venue Manager, you will lead our host team across a rotational roster of opens, mids, and closes, ensuring a seamless, premium experience for our regular guests on every shift.

A day in the life of a Gaming Manager:

• Know the regulars by name and make them feel right at home
• Work closely with the Publican to keep the room running smoothly, safely, and within all the rules
• Share your gaming know-how and help your team be the best in the biz
• Bring the good vibes, great service, and friendly smiles every shift

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You’ve been in the gaming room world for a while, as an attendant, supervisor, or manager
• You’ve learned from great managers and are ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the gaming room
• You understand compliance and safe gaming inside out
• You’ve got a current RSA and RSG as per state requirements
