Job summary

Raise is seeking a highly organised Fundraising Coordinator to support prospect research, donor engagement and fundraising campaigns. You will work closely with the Fundraising Strategist, Growth Impact Managers and the broader team to keep activity moving and ensure no opportunities fall through the cracks.

This full-time, 6-month fixed-term contract offers hybrid work (Sydney office + home) with salary packaging available and potential to continue in a longer-term role.

About the Role

We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Fundraising Coordinator to help keep our fundraising activity moving.

Working closely with our Fundraising Strategist, Growth Impact Managers and broader fundraising team, you’ll provide practical coordination across prospect research, donor and campaign activity, fundraising events, meetings and proposals, Salesforce administration and team workflows.

This is a varied role for someone who enjoys bringing structure to a busy environment, following things through and making sure important actions, information and opportunities don’t fall through the cracks. The final PD specifically places the role across pipeline support, event coordination, CRM administration, proposal workflows and team operating rhythms.

Key responsibilities include:

• Undertaking initial prospect research and preparing profiles and prospect lists
• Supporting donor acquisition, retention, stewardship and fundraising campaigns
• Coordinating fundraising events, including venue arrangements, invitations, registrations, guest lists and follow-up
• Coordinating meetings, calendars, logistics, actions and next steps across fundraising activity
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date fundraising records in Salesforce
• Supporting the preparation and coordination of proposals, grants and funding submissions
• Monitoring deadlines, workflows and key fundraising activity
• Supporting reporting, team meetings, action tracking and continuous improvement across fundraising processes

About you

You’re highly organised, proactive and comfortable juggling a number of moving parts. You enjoy supporting others, keeping activity on track and following up to make sure actions are completed.

You bring:

• Experience coordinating projects, events, donor engagement or similar activities
• Strong administrative, organisational and project coordination skills
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience using CRM systems, ideally Salesforce
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accurate data
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
• A proactive approach to following up, solving problems and keeping work moving

Experience in fundraising, philanthropy or partnerships would be highly regarded, but isn’t essential. The PD deliberately keeps that experience desirable while requiring strong coordination, organisation and stakeholder skills.
