Job summary

Ronald McDonald House Australia is seeking a fundraising coordinator to support donor engagement, campaign delivery and administrative functions across a federated network of Chapters. The role focuses on maintaining donor relationships, processing donations and contributing to compelling fundraising content.

You will work in a hybrid setup, two days in the office and three days from home, reporting to the National Partnerships Development Lead and contributing to national fundraising objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience using CRM platforms, customer databases and digital systems to manage information and supporter interactions.
• Understanding fundraising revenue streams including regular giving, bequests and appeals.
• Proven data entry and data segmentation capabilities with sensitive financial information.
• Experience in fundraising, customer service, office administration or a similar support-focused role.

Responsibilities

• Administration of regular giving programs, bequests, appeals, renewals, donor communications and retention initiatives.
• Develop and nurture positive relationships with donors via phone, email and online channels to enhance engagement.
• Maintain accurate donor and campaign records within Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and high-quality database management.
• Manage donation processing, receipting and banking activities in line with financial procedures and reconciliation standards.
• Assist in developing and sourcing campaign content, including supporter stories and case studies.

Working across a federated network of 12 independently governed local Chapters, Ronald McDonald House Australia provides national leadership, shared services and strategic support to strengthen collective impact across the country.

Each year, Ronald McDonald House Australia supports thousands of families through Ronald McDonald Houses, Family Rooms, Family Retreats, Hospitality Carts and the Ronald McDonald Learning Program. As the National Affiliate Chapter, Ronald McDonald House Australia plays a central role in helping Chapters deliver exceptional support to families while strengthening the organisation's national presence and reputation.

The Role

Reporting to the National Partnerships Development Lead, you will support donor engagement, campaign delivery and administrative functions to help achieve fundraising objectives and maintain strong supporter relationships.

Your ability to manage multiple priorities will ensure donors receive a responsive and professional experience, and you will be involved with the following:

• Administration of regular giving programs, bequests, appeals, renewals, donor communications and retention initiatives
• Develop and nurture positive relationships with donors to enhance engagement via phone, email and online channels
• Maintain accurate donor and campaign records within Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and high-quality database management
• Manage donation processing, receipting and banking activities in line with established financial procedures and reconciliation standards
• Assist in developing and sourcing campaign content, including supporter stories and case studies

Skills Required

You will possess strong customer service skills with a supporter and stakeholder focus, and a demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional supporter and customer experience. You are both adaptable and proactive, and have the following skills:

• Experience using CRM platforms, customer databases and digital systems to manage information and supporter interactions
• Understanding of fundraising revenue streams, including regular giving, bequests and appeals
• Proven data entry and data segmentation capabilities, especially with sensitive financial information
• Experience in fundraising, customer service, office administration or a similar support-focused role
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
• Desirable to have proficiency using Salesforce
