Job summary

Warilla Bowls & Recreation Club invites energetic individuals to join the Functions Team as we deliver memorable events on the South Coast. You will help set up spaces, provide food and beverage service, and support the Functions, Events and Catering teams from start to finish.

Ideal candidates are reliable, enthusiastic and ready to contribute in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Previous functions or hospitality experience is an advantage, with a flexible roster including evenings and

Responsibilities

• Set up function rooms for events according to briefs.
• Provide professional food and beverage service.

• Collaborate with Functions, Events and Catering teams.
• Reset and pack down function spaces after events.
• Stay organised and prioritise tasks during busy periods.
• Maintain a welcoming, professional experience for guests.

Warilla Bowls & Recreation Club is home to Diamonds Reception Centre, our dedicated functions and events venue overlooking Barrack Point and Little Lake.

We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable Functions Team Members to join our team. From weddings and celebrations to corporate events and special occasions, no two functions are quite the same.

You’ll be part of the team responsible for creating a welcoming, professional and memorable experience for our guests – from setup and service through to the final pack-down.

About the Role

As a Functions Team Member, you’ll work across all aspects of event service, including:

• Setting up function rooms ready for events;
• Following event briefs and specific setup requirements;
• Providing professional food and beverage service;
• Working behind the bar and serving guests;
• Working closely with our Functions, Events and Catering teams;
• Resetting and packing down function spaces; and
• Pitching in wherever needed to help the event run smoothly.

About You

We’re looking for people who are reliable, energetic and ready to get involved.

Previous functions or hospitality experience is an advantage, but attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are just as important to us.
