Job summary

Doltone House Western Sydney is seeking an Event Supervisor to lead from the floor, inspire the team and deliver flawless weddings, corporate functions and large-scale celebrations. You will ensure every detail is executed with confidence, care and a personalised touch for every client.

As part of an award-winning team, you will coordinate with Venue Management, Operations and F&B to maintain high standards, manage timelines, and drive exceptional guest experiences across all event stages.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years experience in a function/events supervisory role in hospitality/events.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead the smooth delivery of events, including weddings, corporate functions and large-scale celebrations.
• Deliver exceptional, personalised service and be the primary client contact.
• Supervise, motivate and support F&B teams, delegating responsibilities for quality service.
• Conduct briefings on run sheets, menus, special requirements and service expectations.
• Oversee event setup, cleanliness and safety standards across front and back of house.
• Coordinate with Venue Management, Operations, Kitchen and F&B to resolve issues.
• Monitor service standards and gather client feedback for improvements.
• Support cost control, stock management, and post-event reports.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead the smooth delivery of events, including weddings, corporate functions, high-profile gatherings and large-scale celebrations, ensuring timelines and client requirements are met.
• Deliver exceptional, personalised service and act as a key point of contact for clients, responding confidently to requests and resolving issues.
• Supervise, motivate and support F&B teams, delegating responsibilities to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
• Conduct clear and engaging team briefings covering event run sheets, menus, special requirements and service expectations.
• Oversee event setup, presentation, cleanliness and functionality across front and back of house, ensuring the venue meets safety and service standards.
• Work closely with Venue Management, Operations, Kitchen and F&B teams to coordinate event logistics and resolve operational issues.
• Monitor service standards, gather client feedback and identify opportunities to improve event delivery and the guest experience.
• Support cost control, stock management, accurate transactions and completion of post-event requirements, including pack-downs and event reports.
