Job summary

Wests Group Macarthur is seeking enthusiastic Casual Functions & Events Attendants to join our team. You will help set up, serve and pack down a range of events from weddings to conferences across our Sydney-region venues.

You will thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused environment, delivering exceptional service while collaborating with chefs and team members. Availability during evenings, weekends and public holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or events is preferred.
• RSA & RCG certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Driver's license is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup, service and pack down of events across venues.
• Deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.
• Serve food and beverages professionally.
• Assist with weddings, corporate events, conferences and community events.
• Maintain presentation and cleanliness standards throughout events.
• Collaborate with chefs, team leaders and other staff to ensure smooth service.
• Ensure compliance with responsible service and venue procedures.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Casual Functions & Events Attendants to join our growing team. Whether it's weddings, corporate functions, gala dinners, conferences, sporting presentations or community events, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional experiences for our guests.

About the Role

As a Functions & Events Attendant, you will assist in the setup, service and pack down of a wide range of events across our venues. This is a fast-paced and rewarding role suited to individuals who enjoy working with people and thrive in a team environment.

What you'll do:

• Deliver exceptional customer service to guests.
• Set up and pack down function rooms and event spaces.
• Serve food and beverages in a professional manner.
• Assist with weddings, corporate events, conferences and special occasions.
• Maintain presentation and cleanliness standards throughout events.
• Work collaboratively with chefs, team leaders and fellow team members.
• Ensure compliance with responsible service and venue procedures.

To be successful, you will have:

• Friendly and professional communication skills
