Job summary

Doltone House Western Sydney is seeking an Event Supervisor to lead from the floor, inspire your team and ensure every detail is delivered with confidence and care. You will spearhead weddings, corporate functions and large-scale celebrations with professionalism and warmth.

From frontline service to post-event debriefs, you will coordinate with Venue Management, Operations and F&B to deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain the highest standards throughout events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years experience in a function/events supervisory role with the hospitality/events industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain impeccable standards in event execution.
• Professional, client focused approach with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead the smooth delivery of events, ensuring timelines and client requirements are met.
• Deliver exceptional, personalised service and act as a key point of contact for clients.
• Supervise, motivate and support F&B teams to ensure high-quality service.
• Conduct clear team briefings on run sheets, menus and service expectations.
• Oversee event setup, safety standards and venue cleanliness.
• Coordinate event logistics with Venue Management, Operations and Kitchen.
• Monitor service standards and gather client feedback for improvements.
• Assist with cost control, stock management and post-event reports.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the smooth delivery of events, including weddings, corporate functions, high-profile gatherings and large-scale celebrations, ensuring timelines and client requirements are met.
• Deliver exceptional, personalised service and act as a key point of contact for clients, responding confidently to requests and resolving issues.
• Supervise, motivate and support F&B teams, delegating responsibilities to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
• Conduct clear and engaging team briefings covering event run sheets, menus, special requirements and service expectations.
• Oversee event setup, presentation, cleanliness and functionality across front and back of house, ensuring the venue meets safety and service standards.
• Work closely with Venue Management, Operations, Kitchen and F&B teams to coordinate event logistics and resolve operational issues.
• Monitor service standards, gather client feedback and identify opportunities to improve event delivery and the guest experience.
• Support cost control, stock management, accurate transactions and completion of post-event requirements, including pack-downs and event reports.
