Job summary

Rockhampton Golf Club is seeking multiple Bar, Gaming, Functions & Food Allrounders to join our club team. This hands-on role involves bar service, gaming operations, functions and light food preparation, delivering friendly, professional service to members and guests.

Ideal candidates are customer-focused, reliable and flexible, with a willingness to work evenings, weekends and public holidays. Prior hospitality or gaming experience is preferred; certification in RSA, gambling and food safety

Qualifications

• Willing to obtain RSA, gambling and food safety certifications if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Provide accurate cash handling and efficient customer service.
• Assist with Keno and gaming machine operations, including payouts, promotions and jackpots.
• Replenish bar stock, fridges, glassware and service areas.
• Set up, service and pack down functions.
• Welcome guests and provide courteous, accurate service during events.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to support timely meal service and dietary requirements.
• Prepare and cook basic meals from the all-day snack menu, maintaining quality and portions.
• Keep bar, gaming, kitchen, function and customer areas clean, safe and presentable.
• Participate in stock control and stock takes as required.
• Report equipment faults, hazards and customer concerns.
• Follow liquor licensing, gaming, food safety and WHS requirements.
• Complete daily task sheets and other duties as directed by management.

• Follow liquor licensing, gaming, food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.

• Complete daily task sheets and other reasonable duties directed by management.

Qualifications

Applicants must hold, or be willing to obtain:

• Responsible Service of Alcohol certification

• Responsible Service of Gambling/Gaming certification

• I'm Alert in Food Safety certification, or an equivalent recognised food‑safety qualification
