Job summary

Advent Security is seeking a Safety & Security Officer to patrol a prestigious residential resort on the Gold Coast. You will deliver outstanding customer service while ensuring residents and property remain safe and secure.

Your role includes responding to emergencies, patrolling grounds, managing packages and mail, and using our delivery documentation app. A 4-on/4-off roster and occasional overtime are expected.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience, preferably in a residential community
• Current Qld Security Licence (Sec/Monitoring)
• Current QLD Drivers Licence
• Current First Aid/CPR Certificate
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and good problem solving

Responsibilities

• Patrol residential grounds and control access as needed
• Respond to security issues and emergencies; liaise with emergency services
• Interact with residents and stakeholders delivering exceptional customer service
• Manage packages and mail delivery to correct addresses
• Utilise security tech for documenting incidents and deliveries
• Work a 4-on/4-off roster with occasional overtime as required

Job description

You will be responsible for the security and patrolling of the resort community keeping people and property secure. You will be interacting with the residents and stakeholders all the time to provide your customer service skills while assisting with delivery some of parcels and mail.

As a Safety & Security Officer, you will also be required to support emergency procedures as well as perform the following tasks to a high standard:

Demonstrate exceptional customer service when engaging with residents

Respond promptly to security issues including Emergency calls and liaise with emergency services

Perform regular patrols of the residential grounds and provide access when needed

Control the packages and mail to ensure they are delivered to the addressed

Use of our technology application used in documenting delivery

Be available for 4 on 4 off roster shift and occasional overtime shifts

What we are looking for?

Previous Security experience, preferably in an exclusive residential community but not essential

Current Qld SecurityLicence (Sec/Monitoring)

Current QLD Drivers Licence

Current First Aid/CPR Certificate

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work autonomously and good problem solving

Strong work ethic & reliable

A willingness to learn and grow
