Springmount Services is seeking a Security Officer for the Upper Mount Gravatt site, offering a permanent part-time role with weekend and evening shifts. We have a position available based at our Upper Mount Gravatt site for an immediate start, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, engaging team member who is passionate about delivering a great experience to our customers with every interaction.

Immediate Start – Security Officer

You will be working a roster as discussed with Springmount Services Management and will need to be available for Sick Leave and Annual Leave Relief.

In this role, you will be working alongside security providers who are responsible for a range of duties and work to agreed schedules to deliver an exceptionally high standard of work. Specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Key Selection Criteria:

• Being able to provide proactive support to the team, customers, Centre Management and Centre retailers.
• Extensive knowledge of Fire Finder Systems - ability to use competently and correctly.
• Ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Current Security Licence.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Current First Aid and CPR.
• Monitoring/use of CCTV systems.
• Access control - swipe card control/issuing.
• Use of electronic controlling systems for doors.
• Use of Fire Control Systems/Platforms.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Suite to conduct daily tasks.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills applicable in a dynamic work environment.
• Ability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated.
• High standard of presentation.
• Personable with exceptional time management skills and the ability to engage a diverse range of people.
• Creating a positive and safe working environment.

The Role

This is a Permanent Part Time position based at The Village, Upper Mount Gravatt.

Ongoing shifts:

Friday: 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Saturday: 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

There may also be opportunities to complete additional ad hoc shifts over the Christmas period and to cover sickness and leave periods.

Start ASAP to complete onsite induction and training shifts.
