Security Ops in Australia is seeking a dedicated Security Officer (Gate House and general guarding duties) for a full-time role based at Carole Park, QLD 4300. You will manage access control, monitor CCTV and respond to incidents to safeguard assets and personnel.

The role requires a current security licence, gatehouse or access control experience, attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and control all entry and exit points at the gate house, verifying identification and authorisation of all personnel entering the premises
• Maintain accurate records of visitors, contractors and deliveries, ensuring all documentation is completed in accordance with security protocols
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and packages entering the facility to detect and prevent unauthorised items or potential security threats
• Perform regular patrols of the perimeter and access points to ensure security measures are in place and functioning effectively
• Monitor security systems, CCTV footage and alarm systems, responding promptly to any alerts or suspicious activity
• Enforce company security policies and procedures, addressing any breaches or non-compliance with professionalism and authority
• Provide excellent customer service to authorised visitors and staff whilst maintaining security standards
• Report security incidents, breaches or unusual activities to management and document all occurrences in detail
• Respond to emergencies and security threats in a calm and professional manner, following established protocols
• Maintain the gate house facility to a high standard of cleanliness and organisation
• Current Security Licence (or willingness to obtain one if not already held)
• Proven experience working as a Security Officer, preferably in a gate house or access control environment
• Strong attention to detail and observation skills to identify security risks and anomalies
• Excellent communication abilities and professional demeanour when interacting with staff, visitors and contractors
• Physical fitness and ability to perform regular patrols and stand for extended periods
• Knowledge of security protocols, emergency procedures and incident reporting
• Ability to work independently and take initiative whilst following established procedures
• Reliability and commitment to maintaining consistent, professional standards
• First Aid certification

Security Ops is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer (Gate House and General guaring duties) to join our security team on a full-time basis. Based in Carole Park, QLD 4300, this role is fundamental to maintaining the safety and security across our sites. As a Security Officer, you will be the first line of defence, responsible for controlling access to our premises and ensuring that all visitors, staff and deliveries are properly authorised and monitored. This position plays a critical role in safeguarding assets, personnel and operations.
