Job summary

Crown Sydney is seeking a Full-Time Recreation Attendant to help deliver exceptional poolside experiences and outdoor guest services. You will greet guests, take orders, serve food and beverages, and provide towels and sunscreen while maintaining a safe, clean environment.

This 6-month contract (Sept 2026–Apr 2027) requires flexibility for a rotating roster across 7am–9pm and outdoor summer conditions, with a base hourly rate of $28.91 plus super, tips, and penalties.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hosting or F&B service related or guest-facing role.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, between 7am and 9pm.
• RSA certificate or ability to obtain one prior to commencement.
• Comfortable working in the sun and summer weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and welcoming guests to the Crown Sydney Pool area and cabanas.
• Supporting with guest and resident experience across all recreation areas.
• Taking guest orders and serving food and beverages across both upper and lower recreation areas.
• Offering towels, sunscreen and other amenities to guests as required.
• Providing information on the Crown Spa facilities, services and offerings across the property.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and well-presented environment for guests and other team members.

The role

Featuring two infinity pools, outdoor spaces, a tennis court and a yoga terrace, this role will see you being part of a team that ensures the smooth operations of the food & beverage service for our guests and residents - graciously hosting and offering them the ultimate pool-side experiences.

You’ll be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service moments, enjoy being in the outdoors and thrive in a busy, fast-paced and high-energy environment.

We’re looking for people that can commit to 6-month contracts, from September 2026 - April 2027. You’ll need to be available to commit to 38 hours per week across a rotating roster, between the hours of 7.00 am and 9.00 pm. Given the location of the pools and the outdoors environment, you’ll need to be comfortable working in the sun and in summer weather conditions.

You’ll be:

You’ll bring:
