Job summary

Crown Resorts is seeking enthusiastic Part Time Front Office Attendants to join Crown Sydney at Barangaroo. You’ll be at the heart of the guest experience, delivering exceptional service to guests, visitors and VIPs in a fast-paced luxury hotel.

You’ll collaborate with Bell Services, Concierge, Spa & Recreation, Housekeeping, F&B and Gaming to gain broad exposure and build a strong foundation for your hospitality career.

Qualifications

• Front desk operations experience or understanding preferred.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Comfort with using hotel systems and tech tools.
• Willingness to work a 24/7 rotating roster and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out to ensure smooth front-desk operations.
• Allocate rooms and escort guests as required.
• Process payments accurately and securely.
• Enter guest information in Opera PMS and keep visit history up-to-date.
• Provide tailored and elevated guest experiences across departments.
• Answer guest queries and offer assistance as needed.
• Assist in reservations when required.

Crown Sydney is seeking enthusiastic Part Time Front Office Attendants to join our iconic Barangaroo property.

This opportunity is ideal for students currently studying Hotel Management, Hospitality or Tourism, or those who are looking to expand a career within a world-class luxury hotel environment.

As part of our Front Office team, you'll be at the heart of the guest experience, delivering exceptional service to guests, visitors, and VIPs while working in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.

You'll collaborate with a range of departments including Bell Services, Concierge, Spa & Recreation, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Gaming, gaining valuable exposure across our integrated resort and building a strong foundation for your hospitality career.

You’ll be:

• Checking guests in and out, ensuring smooth front-desk operations
• Appropriately allocating rooms and escorting guests to their destination as required
• Confirming and processing accurate payment processing
• Using the Opera PMS system to accurately enter guest information and visit history is up-to-date
• Providing tailored and elevated guest experiences, collaborating with cross-functional departments
• Answering guest queries and offering assistance when guests may require additional support
• Assisting in the reservation processes where required

You’ll bring:

• A customer-oriented mindset and a passion for creating elevated guest experiences
• Strong interest in creating a career within Front Office Operations and luxury hotels
• Flexibility to work across a 24/7 rotating roster (including weekends and overnights)
• Availability to commit to 20-30 hours per week, across 4-5 shifts
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail, combined with the ability to quickly learn and confidently use a broad range of technologies and systems
