Key Responsibilities

• Manage the overall daily operations of the hotel/motel, ensuring efficient and consistent service delivery across all departments
• Supervise reservations, reception, front office, room service, housekeeping, maintenance and security operations
• Coordinate food and beverage operations, including restaurant, bar, conference and function facilities
• Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate staff to maintain high standards of customer service
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction
• Prepare and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, control purchasing and oversee accounting activities
• Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, gaming legislation, workplace health and safety requirements and other relevant statutory regulations
• Monitor guest feedback, respond to enquiries and complaints, and implement service improvements as required
• Provide guests with local tourism information and assist with arranging tours, transport and other guest services

Skills and Qualifications

• AQF Associate Degree, Certificate III, Certificate IV or Diploma in Hospitality, Business or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
• Proven experience as a Hotel/Motel Manager, Hospitality Manager, Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, or in a similar management role
• Demonstrated ability to manage accommodation services, guest services, food and beverage operations and staff supervision
• Strong leadership, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work full-time on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays as required
