Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Hotel/Motel Manager or similar role.
• Experience managing accommodation services and guest services.
• Ability to lead across reservations, front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage and maintenance.
• Strong leadership, communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work full-time on a rotating roster including weekends/public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel/motel operations and ensure consistent service across departments.
• Supervise reservations, front office, room service, housekeeping, maintenance and security.
• Coordinate food and beverage operations including restaurant, bar, conference and function facilities.
• Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate staff; maintain high customer service standards.
• Develop and implement policies to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Prepare budgets, monitor financial performance and purchasing; oversee accounting activities.
• Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, gaming legislation and WHS requirements.
• Monitor guest feedback and implement service improvements.
