The Toronto Hotel on Lake Macquarie is seeking a Bar/Duty Manager ready to advance their career. Open 7 days with bars, restaurant, function rooms and gaming.

Join a multi-faceted venue with ongoing renovations and a turnover of events from lunch to late functions. You will lead bar staff, ensure service quality, safety, and compliance with liquor and gaming regulations while delivering excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.
• Solid experience in a similar role/venue.
• Proven ability to manage service, safety, and security.
• Highly organized with strong time management.
• Knowledge of current Liquor and Gaming Regulations.
• Weekend availability due to rotating roster.
• Experience with stock take, ordering, and inventory.
• RSA and RSG certificates current.

“Live on the Lake” music venue the historic “Toronto Hotel” on the shores of Lake Macquarie requires a Bar/Duty Manager who is ready to take the next step in their career.

Open 7 days with bars, restaurant, function rooms and gaming on offer to patrons.

With our multi-million-dollar renovations completed,the hotel entails numerous facets of food and beverage operations. Inclusive of day-to-day restaurant lunch and dinner service, corporate, large scale live music events and cocktail & seated functions. .

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Excellent customer service – building a strong and positive relationship with customers
• Oversee and supervise bar staff
• A minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory role
• Solid experience in a similar role /venue
• Proven ability to manage service, safety, and security
• Highly organized and effective time management
• Current RSA and RSG Certificates
• Knowledge and experience of Gaming & TAB
• Understanding of current Liquor and Gaming Regulations
• Efficient use of POS (Point of Sale) system including end of day reporting
• Stock take, stock control and ordering experience
• Duty managers are on a rotating roster - must be able to work weekends
