Job summary

The Cut Golf Course in Western Australia is seeking a full-time Chef to join our busy kitchen team. This role supports our restaurant, café, weddings and corporate events with high-volume service and creative menu development.

You will work alongside the Head Chef, rotating roster including weekdays, weekends, mornings and evenings, while mentoring junior staff and upholding strict safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in busy commercial kitchens.
• Experience catering for weddings/large events desired.
• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and presenting high-quality meals across all service areas.
• Assisting the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations.
• Contributing creative ideas for seasonal menus, specials and function packages.
• Supporting weddings, events and corporate golf functions.
• Leading the kitchen during the Head Chef's absence.
• Coaching and mentoring junior kitchen staff.
• Maintaining exceptional food presentation and consistency.
• Assisting with stock ordering, stock rotation and waste minimisation.
• Ensuring food safety, hygiene and WHS standards are maintained.
• Working collaboratively with the front-of-house and events teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
