Job summary

Grasama and Lesha Pty Ltd t/a Railway Tavern Northampton in Western Australia is seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our team.

As a full-time Chef, you will plan, prepare and cook a variety of dishes, maintain high standards of food safety and quality, manage inventory, train and supervise kitchen staff, and collaborate with management on menu development.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 months of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Excellent culinary skills and creativity.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the menu and customer preferences.
• Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and safety.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to minimize waste and control costs.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff in proper food preparation techniques.
• Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
