Job summary

Southport Surf Life Saving Club is seeking an experienced Qualified Chef to join our established kitchen team at Main Beach on the Gold Coast. You will help deliver quality meals in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a friendly, supportive team.

The role is permanent full-time, 38 hours per week, with 5 weeks annual leave and a roster featuring 3 double shifts and 2 half-days. Public holiday penalties apply according to the Award.

Qualifications

• Be a qualified chef with relevant trade qualifications.
• Have experience in a busy commercial kitchen.
• Have strong grill and pans skills.
• Be reliable, organised and able to work efficiently during busy services.
• Take pride in the quality and presentation of your food.
• Have a positive attitude and work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• You will work as part of our kitchen team delivering quality meals in a busy, high-volume club environment.
• The successful applicant will be confident across a busy service and have strong grill and pans experience.
