Job summary

Secom Australia is currently seeking motivated, professional, and dynamic Level 3 Security Officers for full-time and casual roles. Multiple permanent and casual opportunities available across day and night shifts in Canberra.

The company offers a sign-on bonus of up to AU$2,000 for permanent positions and a dynamic work culture within a leading protective security provider. Applicants must hold ACT Class 1A licence, First Aid, CPR, and valid checks.

Qualifications

• Australian citizen or permanent resident with right to work in Australia.
• Current ACT Security Licence Class 1A as a minimum.
• First Aid and CPR certifications are required.
• Police check recent (last 3 months) or ability to obtain.
• Ability to work a 5/2 roster and demonstrate strong customer service.

• Uphold a clean, neat and well-groomed corporate appearance.
• Identify and respond to security incidents with effective customer service.
• Demonstrate elevated customer service skills when interacting with the public.

You Will Be Able to Demonstrate:

Eligibility, Qualifications, Licences & Certifications

Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with unrestricted Rights to Work in Australia (Essential).

Current ACT Security Licence with a Class 1A as a minimum (Essential).

Current First Aid Certification (Required).

Current CPR (Required).

Full Drivers Licence (Required).

Working with Vulnerable People / Working with Children Check (Required or ability to obtain).

Valid Police Check (obtained in the last 3 months or ability to obtain).

Capacity to work a 5/2 Roster cycle.

Elevated customer service skills.

Experience in EACS Pass Production.

Previous Security experience required.

Two references required.
