Job summary

Stevemacs is seeking an experienced Transport Scheduler to join our Forrestfield head office. You will coordinate bulk fuel deliveries, allocate drivers and loads, and liaise with drivers and customers to keep schedules on track.

The role requires strong time management, solid communication, and a good understanding of fatigue management and heavy vehicle compliance within Western Australia. Occasional after-hours support may be required, with a fair rotational basis.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in transport scheduling, logistics or fleet coordination.
• Broad knowledge of WA geographical regions and logistics considerations.
• Solid time-management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with drivers and customers.
• Understanding of fatigue management and heavy vehicle compliance, or willingness to develop this knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate transport schedule routes for bulk fuel deliveries from terminals to customer sites.
• Allocate drivers, vehicles and loads to meet customer and operational requirements.
• Communicate effectively with drivers and provide support when schedules change.
• Liaise with customers regarding deliveries and operational requirements.
• Monitor customer fuel levels and coordinate proactive dispatch.
• Monitor vehicle availability, maintenance and operational constraints.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and unexpected operational issues.
• Ensure transport activities comply with company procedures, safety requirements and legislation.
• Maintain accurate scheduling and transport records.
• Support a positive safety culture by considering safety in scheduling decisions.
