Job summary

Viva Energy Australia in Darwin is seeking a Scheduler based at Wishart Rd Office, Berrimah, responsible for stock management and scheduling fuel deliveries to metro and surrounding customers while delivering outstanding customer service. You will work Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, 38 hours a week; after-hours calls may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in scheduling bulk fuel or goods & services.
• Bulk fuels operations and its day-to-day challenges.
• Road Transport Logistics (Dangerous Goods, Chain of Responsibility & Fatigue Laws).
• Fatigue Management accreditation and general understanding.
• A background in using ERP systems.
• Working understanding of relevant HSSE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling – planning loads in accordance with regulations.
• Stock management – reviewing and maintaining stock levels for vendor managed sites (VMI) and our internal depot's locations.
• High internal communication, regular updates and feedback to our customer and internal stakeholders.
• Optimise fleet schedules, maximising products to customer tanks.
• Problem solving, thinking outside the square and providing potential solutions to aid and close unplanned schedule or truck availability changes.
