Job summary

Drakes Supermarkets is seeking a motivated leader for the Biloela store's Fruit & Veg department. Reporting to the Fruit & Veg Manager, you will manage a small team, create rosters, place orders and conduct stock takes, while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers on-the-job training, permanent part-time status, and a generous 10% staff and family discount across Drakes stores.

Qualifications

• Fresh food retail knowledge is desirable but not essential
• Proven ability to lead and manage a small team
• Experience in ordering and cost control
• Ability to create accurate rosters
• Strong customer service focus and communication skills
• Ability to coach, train and performance manage teams
• Commitment to workplace health and safety standards

About this opportunity:

Our Biloela store is currently looking for a motivated and hard working leader, to join and assist leading the store's fruit & veg department.

Reporting directly to the Fruit & Veg Manager, this successful applicant will be responsible for managing a small team, creating rosters, generating orders, completing stock takes + much more!

Working as a part of an enthusiastic team, in a highly competitive supermarket environment, applicants will be expected to demonstrate:
