Job summary

Whittens is recruiting FRP Supervisors to work on a 2/1 FIFO roster for a large-scale FRP Tunnel infrastructure project in NSW. You will provide onsite supervisory coordination and oversee the FRP workforce, ensuring safe and efficient construction practices.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience leading a self-perform FRP crew with a civil contractor.
• Experience with tunnel lining construction and formwork systems such as DOKA travelling formwork.
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental practices.
• Self-starter with excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site supervisory coordination and oversight of the FRP construction crew.
• Ensure safe, efficient and high-quality execution of tunnel works on site.
• Lead FRP crews, manage direct labour and productivity.
• Collaborate with site leadership to uphold HSE standards and environmental practices.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve issues quickly.

About The Role

We are recruiting FRP Supervisors to work on a 2/1 FIFO roster who have a genuine interest to positively influence construction crews and promote a memorable culture, to join a large scale FRP Tunnel infrastructure project in NSW.

Your overall responsibility is to provide onsite supervisory coordination and oversite of the construction workforce including direct labour (FRP) execute construction works safely, efficiently, and effectively.

About You

• Demonstrated experience at Supervisory level managing a self-perform FRP crew with a Civil contractor.
• Experience with Tunnel lining construction, expertise using DOKA / Travelling formwork system
• Demonstrated safety and environmental behaviour
• Self-starter, with well-developed organisational and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills with the ability to problem solve
