Job summary

Whittens, a family-owned civil construction contractor, seeks a FIFO Senior Project Engineer to join the Operations team on major concrete and bulk earthworks projects, with a 2/1 FIFO roster from major Australian cities.

You will hold a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and have FIFO/DIDO experience with a self-perform contractor, delivering earthworks and concrete while communicating effectively with teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required).
• Proven FIFO/DIDO experience with a self-perform civil contractor.
• Experience with earthworks and/or concrete projects.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil projects on concrete and bulk earthworks as Senior Project Engineer.
• Supervise site teams and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and budget.
• Ensure HSE compliance, quality control and reporting on site.

The Opportunity

We currently have opportunities for FIFO Senior Project Engineers to join our Operations teams working on major Concrete and Bulk Earthworks projects. These roles will work on a 2/1 FIFO roster flying from most major cities in Australia.

About You

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering - A must
• Demonstrated experience working in a FIFO or DIDO capacity with a self-perform Civil Contractor
• Experience with Earthworks and/or Concrete
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
