Job summary

Whittens is recruiting FRP Supervisors to lead a self-perform FRP crew on a large NSW tunnel infrastructure project. This 2/1 FIFO role focuses on supervis­ing construction activities, ensuring safety, quality and project alignment on site.

You will coordinate the FRP workforce, engage with leaders and drive a safety‑first culture while delivering efficient, on‑time results for a major civil infrastructure program.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a self-perform FRP crew within a Civil contractor.
• Experience with Tunnel lining construction using DOKA Travelling formwork system.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and environmental behaviour.
• Self-starter with well-developed organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite supervisory coordination and oversight of the FRP construction workforce.
• Ensure works are performed safely, efficiently and effectively.
• Liaise with site leadership and stakeholders to manage performance and progress.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are recruiting FRPSupervisors to work on a 2/1 FIFO roster who have a genuine interest to positively influence construction crews and promote a memorable culture, to join a large scale FRP Tunnel infrastructure project in NSW.

Your overall responsibility is to provide onsite supervisory coordination and oversite of the construction workforce including direct labour (FRP) execute construction works safely, efficiently, and effectively.

ABOUT YOU

• Demonstrated experience at Supervisory level managing a self-perform FRP crew with a Civil contractor.
• Experience with Tunnel lining construction, expertise using DOKA / Travelling formwork system
• Demonstrated safety and environmental behaviour
• Self-starter, with well-developed organisational and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills with the ability to problem solve
