Job summary

HOBAN Recruitment is seeking motivated APS3 Participant Support Officers for a large Federal Government organisation. You will be the first point of contact for participants and stakeholders, providing professional support via face-to-face, phone and email interactions.

This full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week with a competitive pay rate of $38.89 per hour (including casual loading) and 12% superannuation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, service delivery or the disability sector.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
• Empathy and professionalism when managing sensitive or challenging conversations.
• Sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Willingness to undertake a National Criminal History Check.
• AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN for this Federal Government role.

Responsibilities

• Delivering exceptional customer service and resolving enquiries.
• Providing frontline support in a busy office environment.
• Managing participant and stakeholder enquiries via phone, email and in person.
• Triaging and escalating complex matters to appropriate teams.
• Maintaining accurate records and managing shared inboxes.
• Making outbound calls to participants and stakeholders as required.
• Supporting administrative, project and operational activities.
• Conducting research and assisting with issue resolution.
• Working collaboratively within a team to achieve service delivery outcomes.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and positive participant experiences.
