Job summary

Department of Families, Fairness & Housing VIC – Greater Bendigo VIC invites applications for a Housing Services Officer in the Housing Advice and Assistance Team (HAAT). The role supports frontline housing services for people who are homeless or seeking housing assistance, across the Loddon Area.

You will assist with client inquiries via phone, email and other channels. The position is primarily focused on HAAT service delivery but may also support bonds completion, walk-up client support and

Qualifications

• Assess client's needs and provide advice on housing options from a range of established policy, procedures and standards.
• Respond to family violence risk in accordance with Multi Agency Risk Assessment Management (MARAM) guidelines.
• Use persuasive skills in dealing with clients and stakeholders on all housing matters.
