Job summary

Northline in Adelaide is seeking a Casual Customer Service Officer to be the friendly first contact for our customers, handling inquiries, quotes, and freight movements with care and professionalism. You will work Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 6:00pm, with flexibility to cover shifts.

Prior experience in call centre, hospitality or retail is valued, along with strong communication and data-entry skills. Join a team that values development, offers employee benefits and access to centre facilities

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities to assist members and patrons.
• Experience in sales or customer-facing roles, preferably in fitness or service industries.
• Ability to work in a team and maintain a positive, professional culture.
• Proficient computer skills including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience handling cash, POS, and EFTPOS transactions.
• Willingness to pick up extra shifts and be reliable.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and staff.
• Attention to detail and accurate data entry across systems.

Responsibilities

• Be the friendly first point of contact for inbound customer inquiries.
• Keep customers and teammates updated on freight movements and inquiries via calls.
• Assist customers by connecting with the right teams for timely solutions.
• Respond to customer emails accurately and efficiently.
• Proactively communicate delays and updates to keep customers informed.
• Build strong relationships with customers and teammates across the network.
• Take ownership of enquiries and collaborate to deliver a great customer experience.
