Job summary

Ace Landscape and Turf Supplies is seeking a Customer Service & Dispatch Assistant to be the first point of contact for customers, taking orders, assisting at the front counter, and supporting delivery coordination in Belrose/Sydney. This fast-paced role requires strong communication, organisational skills, and a proactive approach.

You will help manage orders, schedule deliveries, assist customers with product selection and timing, and support drivers to ensure efficient delivery runs.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and confidence on the phone.
• Ability to prioritise in a busy environment.
• Good with numbers (quantities, weights, truck loads).
• Organised and able to juggle multiple tasks at once.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and positive attitude.
• Experience in landscaping, building supplies, logistics, or similar is highly regarded.
• Experience in a fast-paced phone-based role (trades, logistics, retail, or hospitality) will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and take customer orders accurately.
• Serve customers at the front counter.
• Process orders and assist with scheduling deliveries.
• Support the coordination of drivers to keep delivery runs efficient.
• Assist customers with product selection, quantities, and delivery timing.
• Help manage order flow and adjust schedules as needed.
• General admin tasks (data entry, account updates, etc.)
