Randstad Pty in Melbourne CBD is seeking an empathetic Customer Care & Intake Officer to join an essential surge and rapid-response initiative.

You will triage inbound community recovery requests, conduct program intake, and provide vital administrative coordination to fast-moving response teams. The role is an initial 6‑month labour-hire arrangement, with full-time preferred and part-time/3 days per week considered. A valid driver’s licence is required for occasional travel 1–2 times per month.

Qualifications

• Frontline intake and high-volume phone support experience.
• Structured administrative support and calendar management.
• Trauma-informed communication and boundary setting in high-stress situations.
• Experience using CRM systems and modern office suites.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate within a team.

Responsabilités

• Frontline Triage & Intake for community assistance enquiries.
• Program & Service Intake coordination for relief services.
• Coordinate with regional teams and external stakeholders.
• Provide administrative support to leadership and program managers.
• Record client interactions and case notes with privacy in mind.
