Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. in Port Douglas is seeking a Front Office Team Leader to run the daily front desk operations, greet and register owners and guests, provide local area information, and complete department paperwork while supporting the Front Office Manager.

The role requires experience in a similar hotel position, outstanding customer service, excellent communication, strong computer literacy, and the ability to work a roster from mornings to late evenings, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day front desk operations and greet/register owners and guests.
• Provide information on local attractions and services to guests.
• Complete department paperwork and operate communication devices (phones, faxes, computers).
• Assist Front Office Manager with additional duties as required.

This includes greeting and registering of owners and guests, providing information to local area attractions, completion of all department related paperwork and using all communication equipment including telephones, facsimiles and computers. You will perform addition duties to assist the Front Office Manager.Please note that it is a requirement of this position that the successful applicant is available to work rostered shifts from 7.00am to 11.00pm.
