Job summary

Lancemore Crossley St. is seeking an experienced Guest Service Agent to drive guest experiences across reservations, arrivals, departures and the guest stay at our boutique Melbourne property.

You will be an ambassador for the Lancemore brand over phone, email and in person, lead the team during peak times, and stay on top of the PMS and cash handling processes while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role with exposure to FO hotel leadership/management.
• Hands-on leadership during busy shifts.
• Team player with boutique-hotel service mindset.
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced settings.
• Comfortable driving revenue opportunities and motivating the team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest experiences across reservations, arrivals, departures and stay.
• Represent the boutique Lancemore brand by phone, email and in person.
• Recommend hotels and local area.
• Respond to guest feedback and follow up as required.
• Maintain systems and procedures, including cash handling and the PMS.

Great role for an experienced GSA to take the next step to drive and implement guest experiences throughout the Hotel.

About the Role

• Deliver exceptional guest experiences at every part of the journey including reservations, arrivals, departures and throughout their stay
• Be an ambassador for the Hotel, positively representing and promoting our boutique brand over the phone, by email and in person
• Make recommendations on the Hotel and local area
• Respond to guest feedback, concerns or complaints from guests appropriately and follow up/report as required
• Stay on top of systems and procedures, including cash handling, payments and the PMS reservation system

About You

• Experience in a similar role - Exposure to FO Hotel leadership/management is essential
• Hands on leadership skills that inspire and support the team, particularly during those 'mad rush' moments
• Team player, great personality and a passion for delivering the best service possible with a boutique vibe
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment, by taking initiative, prioritising and working collaboratively
• Get a kick out of hitting revenue targets and firing up your team to stay alert to selling opportunities
