ibis Styles Mount Isa is seeking a Front Office Manager to lead the front desk team and ensure exceptional guest service. Based in Mount Isa, Queensland, the role focuses on smooth front office operations, staff scheduling, and delivering a welcoming experience for guests.

You will oversee check-in/check-out, reservations, and guest inquiries while driving improvements through KPIs and collaboration with other departments.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 1 years’ experience as a department head in a similar role.
• Strong leadership with the ability to work collaboratively with other leaders in the business.
• A passion for inspiring a team through coaching, career development and learning of new skills and abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations with a positive attitude.
• Proven problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Open to feedback, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement.
• A high standard of grooming and presentation.
• Flexibility regarding your work availability is essential, as we operate 7 days a week, including public holidays.

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the front office, including check-in/check-out, reservations, and guest inquiries
• Managing and scheduling the front desk team to ensure optimal coverage and productivity
• Providing excellent customer service and resolving guest issues in a timely and professional manner
• Monitoring and reporting on key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
• Participating in the development and implementation of front office policies and procedures
• Liaising with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
• Contributing to the overall success of the hotel by supporting sales and marketing initiatives
