Job summary

Minor Hotels is seeking an experienced Front Office Manager to lead the front desk team at Oaks Brisbane on Felix Suites. This fixed-term contract covers parental leave and runs from immediate start to mid-June 2027.

You will manage guest reception, reservations, and service standards in a fast-paced hotel environment. As the face of the hotel, you will lead a diverse team, ensure smooth operations, and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience at a supervisor level within a hotel or resort environment.
• Exceptional people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide an outstanding guest welcome and maintain front office standards.
• Meet guests on arrival and settle them into rooms.
• Maintain professional communication to assist guests and bookings.
• Guide and support the team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Ensure daily tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate guest accounts and assist with daily reporting.
• Manage the front office roster to meet budgets and staffing needs.
• Assist Hotel Manager with recruitment.
