Job summary

ibis Brisbane Airport is seeking a Full-Time Front Office Manager (Maternity Leave Cover) to lead our Front Office team and uphold the hotel’s high standards of guest service and operational excellence in Brisbane.

Reporting to the Hotel Manager – Rooms Division, the ideal candidate will drive guest satisfaction, supervise staff, and ensure accurate reporting and yield optimization across shifts. Strong communication and rostering experience are essential.

• Proven experience in hotel front office leadership.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Experience rostering and wage control.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Well presented with strong organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Front Office team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Ensure guest arrivals/departures follow set procedures and optimize room yield.
• Oversee Front Office system use and reporting accuracy.
• Manage night audit in collaboration with Finance.
• Provide visible managerial presence at the Front Desk and lobby.
• Coordinate with Reservations to optimize room allocation and KPI delivery.
