Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott Brisbane South bank is seeking an enthusiastic Front Office Manager to lead the Front Office team and deliver memorable guest experiences. Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations, drive service excellence and coordinate across departments to ensure a seamless guest journey.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication skills and a focus on guest satisfaction, brand standards and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Front Office Manager or senior Front Office leadership position within a hotel environment.
• Hands-on approach to leadership and leading from the front.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop and inspire a diverse team.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• A strong commercial mindset and understanding of hotel operations and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Front Office team to deliver outstanding service.
• Oversee daily Front Office operations including reception and guest services.
• Ensure guest satisfaction through proactive engagement and service recovery.
• Manage guest feedback and service opportunities with professionalism.
• Drive performance, productivity and departmental financial results.
• Monitor room inventory, arrivals and VIPs; coordinate with related departments.
