Job summary

voco Gosford on the Central Coast is seeking a Front Office Duty Manager to lead the front office team across reservations, guest experience and daily operations. You will ensure guests leave with a positive story and provide calm, professional handling of any incidents.

Qualifications

• A degree or equivalent in Hotel or Business Administration.
• Non-restricted working rights in Australia.
• RSA and First Aid certificates valid.
• 2-3 years in guest service/hotel roles, including at least 1 year in a management role.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Manager on Duty and handle guest feedback, incidents and emergencies.
• Lead check-in and check-out with Front Office crew.
• Build a team culture that people want to be part of.
• Maintain high service standards — professional, warm, personal.
• Ensure guests have everything they need for a memorable stay.
• Perform rounds inspecting front office and public areas.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, Sales for seamless operations.
• Keep the team trained on compliance, safety, systems and service standards.
• Drive hotel revenue by maximizing occupancy and upsell opportunities.
