Job summary

YOMG is looking for a confident Front of House Supervisor to lead from the floor, support the team and keep the guest experience strong throughout every shift. This hands-on leadership role involves coordinating the front of house team, allocating stations and breaks, managing service flow and responding to guest or operational issues while upholding YOMG standards.

Coaching and development of staff are key aspects.

Qualifications

• Experience in front of house hospitality, retail or quick-service operations.
• Confident leadership and decision‑making under pressure.
• Strong communication, organisation and guest recovery skills.
• Hands-on approach and willingness to work alongside the team.
• Availability across the roster.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and provide clear direction to team members.
• Allocate stations, coordinate breaks and adjust deployment as trade changes.
• Set hospitality standards for order, speed and presentation.
• Coach team members in real time and support onboarding and training.
• Resolve guest concerns within authority and escalate as needed.
• Complete opening/closing, cash, security and food safety checks.
• Monitor stock, waste and labour deployment during shifts.

Job description

YOMG is looking for a confident Front of House Supervisor who can lead from the floor, support the team and keep the guest experience strong throughout every shift.

This is a hands-on leadership role. When rostered as the person in charge, you will coordinate the front of house team, allocate stations and breaks, manage service flow and respond to guest or operational issues. You will set the pace while coaching team members and maintaining YOMG standards across hospitality, product, cash and cleanliness.

What You Will Do

• Lead assigned shifts and provide clear direction to two or more team members.
• Allocate stations, coordinate breaks and adjust deployment as trade changes.
• Set the standard for hospitality, order accuracy, speed and presentation.
• Coach team members in real time and support onboarding and station training.
• Resolve guest concerns within your authority and elevate significant matters promptly.
• Complete opening or closing, cash, security, food safety and operational checks accurately.
• Monitor stock, waste and labour deployment during the shift.
