Job summary

Fitness Cartel Australia & New Zealand is seeking a Front of House Team Leader to lead the front desk operations and mentor the Reception Team. You will ensure a welcoming, energetic environment for all members and oversee daily activities, including memberships, bookings, and retail purchases.

The role involves coaching staff, maintaining standards, and contributing to a premium member experience. A proactive, organized leader with strong customer service and retail knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience in customer service or retail.
• Strong customer experience and relationship-building.
• Retail/fitness knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable member experiences.
• Support, coach and motivate the Reception Team while assisting with onboarding and day-to-day guidance.
• Welcome members, answer enquiries, process memberships, bookings and retail purchases using club systems.
• Assist with café operations, retail sales and confidently recommend supplement and nutrition range to members.
• Ensure the reception, café and retail areas are clean, well-stocked and presented to Fitness Cartel standards.
• Support Customer Service Manager with smooth day-to-day running and adherence to policies.
