Job summary

JLL in Canberra is seeking a proactive Lobby Host to greet visitors, manage reception duties, and support day-to-day operations across the site. You will work closely with the Workplace Experience Manager and Concierge Lead to deliver professional, welcoming experiences.

This role requires strong customer service, clear communication, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks—from meeting room bookings to access badge administration and event support.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service in front-of-house, reception, or hospitality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Self-motivated and proactive with keen attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Basic understanding of facilities services and OH&S requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, calendar management tools, and standard workplace software.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and staff, manage reception duties including refreshments, name badges, calls, and escorts.
• Oversee access badge administration, onboarding, meeting room bookings, and event setups.
• Maintain consumables inventory and conduct daily site inspections.
• Support event management and coordinate catering, room arrangements, and safety compliance.
• Manage IT hardware assets, courier distribution, parking requests, and serve as a key team member during emergencies.
• Collaborate with Workplace Coordinator Site Lead Canberra and ANZ Concierge Lead.
• Requests are received and managed through Microsoft Teams.
• Act as the key contact during Canberra Site Lead's absence.
