Job summary

Openhood is seeking a Founding Sales & Relationship Manager to drive growth across Western Australia, winning new workshop clients, onboarding them, and ensuring maximum platform value. Based in Perth, you’ll travel to workshops, build trust with owners and technicians, and convert conversations into signed agreements.

You’ll work directly with the Founder & CEO to shape our growth trajectory, product feedback and commercial strategy.

Qualifications

• Automotive aftermarket experience in workshops, parts, software, or services.
• Track record in sales, business development or account management.
• Ability to demonstrate software and drive adoption in workshops.

Responsibilities

• Own the new business pipeline — from first cold conversation to signed agreement.
• Research, map and target aftermarket workshops across your territory, building pipeline through outreach, walk-ins, referrals and industry networks.
• Run discovery and product demonstrations that show how Openhood pays for itself in a working workshop.
• Own onboarding end-to-end — setup, data migration, team training and go-live — so adoption sticks in the first 30 days.
• Drive adoption and expansion — regular check-ins and reviews that grow accounts (more bays, more features, more sites) by proving value month after month.
• Represent Openhood at industry events, trade nights and supplier/network functions as a credible, trusted voice.
• Be the voice of the workshop — capture feedback, pain points and feature requests from the floor and feed them to the product team.
• Keep clean records — accurate pipeline, activity and client health data, with reporting against monthly targets for new clients, activations and retention.
